Want to know how to put that decorative edge on the shelf you’ve just installed in your living room? Need to cut a groove in the surface of a panel, or cut a perfect timber circle…but not sure how you might do it by hand? With the sheer speed of the cutter and it’s number of functional and decorative uses – the router is an indispensable tool for every woodworker.
This one-off evening course will introduce you to the basics of setting up and getting the feel for the router and develop your skills and confidence with the tool.
This class will be led by Katharine Daish who trained in bench joinery at the Building Crafts College in Stratford, and has worked in both art fabrication and carpentry workshops.
