This new 3-week course introduces you to three different fabrication skills: welding, spraying and weaving. In the first week you will learn the basics of MIG welding and create the stool frame with sections of mild steel stock. You will then learn how to prepare the metal for finishing by grinding, de-greasing and applying colour. The final week will be weaving the seat using paracord.
This course is ideal for beginners and anyone keen to start working with metal. You will also receive a 50% discount on the Metalwork Induction after completing the course. Our tutor Daniel Higgins is an experienced metalworker and furniture designer.
Please note that refunds or changes to ticket date are available up to 1 week before course start date.
