We’re pleased to say we’ll be running four brand new workshops for kids this summer as we launch ‘MAKE STUFF CLUB‘ a holiday club running every Wednesday throughout August, kindly supported by William Morris Big Local.

The workshops aim to give kids the chance to:
– be creative
– work with new and found materials
– experience working with tools
– gain confidence
– meet and learn about makers and their practice
– work both independently and collaboratively

Kicking off at the Walthamstow Garden Party on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th July we’ll be giving kids the chance to build the Blackhorse Pegasus: a mythical winged horse push-along toy. This activity can be booked in-person on the day. Other workshops held every Wednesday throughout August can be booked via the links below.  Workshops will be held at the main workshop and at our new pop up space ‘SIDESHOW’ opening this August opposite Blackhorse Road tube.

Activities are suitable for kids aged 8-13, and priority booking is available for those living in William Morris Ward, subject to availability.
