Sculptor and Installation Artist
Carmel Mannion is a sculptor and installation artist based in London. Her large-scale sculptural work explores ‘the journey inward’, distilling wisdom from sacred geometry, metaphysics, and ancient mythology she aims to illuminate the complex interplay between the conscious and unconscious through physical action.
Through this site-specific and arresting sculptural installation, the audience is invited to play, momentarily dissolving them from their social and personal constructs. The ‘game’ exists as a metaphor, encouraging the audience into a world guided by their curiosity and intuition whilst asking them to question their relationship to the fundamental human experiences; time, attention, connection and play.
