Daniel Davidsson is a London based abstract sculptor. He was born in Iceland, moved to Brighton and now resides in Camden Town. Having trained initially in science and engineering, Daniel began practicing sculpture in 2013 and has worked at the WMC Camden College, Turning Earth, London Sculpture Workshop and is now working out of Blackhorse Workshop.
His sculptures have utilised a variety of materials from ceramics and plaster, to concrete and steel, using the techniques of carving, modelling, welding, mould making and casting. His current works that are comprised of concrete and steel allow a means to contrast delicate forms with the inherent strength of industrial materials.
