Studio Berman is an architecture practice that brings together design expertise on education, arts and residential projects. Co-founded by Zoë Berman, we support clients to develop appropriate strategies and understand the visual, analytical and practical issues of a project. Through design we seek to develop proposals that are functional and enjoyable for clients and end users. Materials, making and craft is core to our interests. A small, nimble practice we are always furthering our research-based knowledge and our endless curiosity about architecture through writing, publications, teaching and lecturing. As a qualified architect Zoe teaches in London and is a visiting critic at the University of Westminster, University of Sheffield and Kingston University. Most recently she has lead a design and making unit for the Welsh School of Architecture, and curates a lecture programme at the Cass School of Architecture.
