As well as hand skills, you’ll learn to use equipment such as the electric hand-held router, biscuit jointer, chisel morticer and machine sander in the making of your piece. Every session combines teacher-led demonstrations with 1:1 tuition ensuring learners of all abilities are supported according to their individual needs.

This course will be led by Toby Poolman, our resident wood specialist technician. Toby trained as a furniture designer/maker and has designed and led workshops for all abilities.
