Join us this December for a special online class learning how to create your own woodblock, that can be used for printing Christmas cards or onto paper. Following a live teacher demonstration, you will use a piece of softwood to practice mark-making techniques and decide on your final design. Create your final woodblock piece using hardwood, such as walnut. Sand and finish your piece so it’s ready for printing.

Each participant can come and collect their Course Kit from Reception at Blackhorse Workshop before the workshop date. The ticket price includes the cost of the kit.
In your kit you will each receive:

Softwood block
Hardwood block
Cards and envelopes

Please only book this class if you are able to collect your kit from Blackhorse Workshop in person.

This course will be led by Lua Garcia who studied a BA in Furniture Making and Product Design at the Cass and now works as a designer/maker for homes and interiors.
