The perfect handmade gift for any beer lover – transform a piece of steel bar into a personalised bottle opener, using traditional blacksmithing techniques. You’ll learn the art of tapering, flattening, hot punching, drifting a hole, twisting and hot stamping. After perfecting your creation, you will then seal the piece using hot wax. Once you’ve got these skills under your belt you can come back and use our forge!

The course gives you an introduction to the key power tools. You’ll learn how to use a biscuit joiner to join two components edge to edge, the correct type of cutter to use with a router, how to achieve better accuracy with a router table, and how to make curved cuts using a jigsaw. And the result? A stylish pizza server in contrasting woods – suitable for any pizza lover.
