We’ve been busy working with the Lola Lely Studio on their commission from The Architecture Foundation in collaboration with the Crown Estate. Lola’s winning design will culminate in a permanent installation at 12, Charles II Street in the West End opening this September. We’ve been fabricating the steel structure from which a series of ‘satellites’ will be suspended made from leather, glass and metal.
Inspiration for the piece has come from an intriguing range of sources, from the area’s former resident Sir Isaac Newton to its long standing tailoring tradition. We can’t wait to see the final piece!
