Youth Advisory Board

We held our first Youth Advisory Board in February 2022, bringing together local young people from three of our youth programmes: The Agency, Blackhorse Responders, and our Ercol x STORE Summer School.
The meet coincided with the wonderful news that Blackhorse Responders has been awarded £110,825 from The National Lottery Community Fund, which will support 5 years of programme delivery here at the Workshop!
Faith Agba Butler
My name is Faith. I'm 19. I first became involved with Blackhorse Workshop through the Agency programme, which was a entrepreneurship programme for Young people aged 16-25 - our business had to have a social purpose. A fun fact about me is that I'm still running the business that I developed at Blackhorse Workshop. It is called Essence by Faith. I sell natural hair products for all hair types, and I also run workshops for young black women that teaches them personal development skills and also how to deal with their hair.
